Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps that are 18m in length and the opposite four are methanol carry pumps that are 10m lengthy.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors that have been designed and constructed along the size of the pumps to observe the temperature of each bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches each pump to its tank throughout set up ensuring that as the pump is lowered into the tank it remains completely aligned, lowering vibration and put on during operation.
Once assembled, Economical have been independently witness tested and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being built.
The pump supply and set up needed to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they had to be put in into the vessel’s tanks by way of the deck before one other deck above the pumps might be built. The first phase was completed successfully over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the customer with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 area, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide as a lot as ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It might be outfitted to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent on the subject.
